Come and experience a Sport Fishing Adventure of a life time.  With our team of American & Guatemalan Agents and Captains, we can provide a unique experience, for professional and amateur anglers.

Join us in the Sail Fish Capital of the World.  Guatemala holds both the conventional and fly fishing records, with the most sailfish released in one day. Sailfish records include 124 sailfish releases in one day on conventional gear by Ron Hamlin.  The reason for this incredible unknown hot spot has to do with the ocean currents that run just off the Guatemalan coast.  With combined currents, perfect water temperatures, and the bluest water content: bill fish thrive!
You will find the fishing pressure next to none existent in Guatemala.
The ocean is virtually yours!

GA Unforgettable Memories:

  • Fighting  the incredible force of the Blue Marlin
  • Having a cold beer in a sunny day after catching a sailfish

You will have the Chance to experience the Sail Fish Capital of the World first hand with our experienced crew. Your groups can expect to participate in the bait and switch practices of catching bill fish. In the prime season expect to see 20 sails raised, and at least 10-12 Sail Fish released on an average day. The Pacific indo Sail Fish is known to weigh from 100 lbs to 150 lbs.
Much different from its smaller Atlantic cousin. Sails Fish are very aggressive, and an aero flying fighter. Make sure to have the camera ready! No one fish is the same and each one makes for a great show while reeling in.

Double and triple hook ups are also common with sail fish in Guatemala, and no day is slow when Mahi Mahi are on the hunt. Big Mahi Mahi, 25 – 35 lbs, is plentiful in the Pacific Ocean of Guatemala. Fishing is outstanding all year round! Ask us what is biting, and we will tell you.

Marlin bite all year round as well as Sails in Guatemala. Blue Marlin in the 300 to 700 pound range being the most common. In recent years it has not been uncommon for the best captains to raise 4 or more marlin in a day. Marlin can be caught year round in Guatemala but the largest concentrations seem to occur in late spring through December.
